INSIGHT UK organised a nationwide tour of the Darshana Hindu Civilisation exhibition. The exhibition, whose name “Darshana” means “glimpse” in Sanskrit, was designed to showcase the rich heritage and contributions of the Hindu civilisation – the most ancient and living civilisations in the world.
The tour’s primary objectives were to educate the public about India’s and Hinduism’s significant contributions across multiple fields including science, mathematics, yoga, architecture, and spirituality, while also promoting awareness of the core principles of Hindu Dharma.
The exhibition was also held at various locations across the UK, including temples and community centres. One notable venue for the exhibition was The Telegraph’s London headquarters, where the presentation theatre was transformed into a vibrant cultural journey.
This initiative was part of INSIGHT UK’s broader mission as a “social movement” for raising awareness and campaigning for causes that concern the British Hindu and Indian (BHI) communities in Britain.
