A Hindu mandir (temple) was defaced with anti-India graffiti in California.

In an incident which took place on Thursday evening, the walls of the Swaminarayan Hindu Mandir were vandalised with hate slogans against India and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The graffiti in black ink clearly shows the vile underhand and disgraceful intentions of anti-Hindu and anti-India bigots.

Temple officials reported the incident to the Police who are currently treating the incident as a hate crime.

An attack on a Hindu temple is an attack on the entire Hindu community.

The past few years in particular have witnessed the same modus operandi in Australia, Canada and the UK with Hindu temples being attacked and vandalised by Islamists.

During the summer months, threats were made against the Hindu and Sikh communities in Canada to leave the country.
A Hindu temple was attacked by an Islamist mob in Leicester, UK on the 17th of September 2022.

These incidents highlight a deeper pattern of anti-Hindu hate. Such incidents make law-abiding Hindus feel unsafe and under attack.
We strongly condemn the attacks and question the authorities in the US, Canada, Australia and the UK on what actions are being taken to bring the perpetrators to justice.

What is being done to ensure the safety of the Hindu and Sikh community?
